This class is a Private SewArt Basics for Beginners Class on Zoom. You will be the only person in attendance and you can choose the basic class or you can ask me about specific issues. I am not a certified or professional SewArt teacher, I am just a regular person who figured some of this stuff out. If you have a specific problem please message me before paying for the class so that I can tell you if I can help you or not. I want to be helpful and not waste your time or money on things I know I can't help with.
Once payment has been received, I will contact you via the email you used to pay on paypal to schedule our class. I will also send you the graphic we are going to use in class and the link for the Zoom Meeting as well as a few more links to helpful resources.
In this class we will go over basic fill stitch, outline border, cross stitch, variable width satin stitch and applique using an SVG graphic and a font. It will take roughly 1 hour with a little time afterwards to answer questions.
You will need the full version of SewArt to digitize the files I send but it's not required for the class. If you do not have the demo, please go to www.sandscomputing.com and download the SewArt Demo.
If you do not have Zoom, please download it and have it ready for class.
This is a "digitize along" class and if you have SewArt you will need to access this class on the computer you use SewArt on. This will give us the option to have you work in SewArt alongside class. We can do this with me doing the work and you watching as well, just let me know your preference.
If you would like to have a recording of this session, please select that option on your computer in Zoom and it will save when the class is over.
Please download and orient yourself with zoom before the class starts.
